Ascension Design Coalition created a complex virtual 3D neighborhood for the client, based on the pre-existing historical neighborhood located in Chillicothe, Ohio. All architecture building structures were tailor-made and intricately modeled-from-scratch entirely as 3D CAD, textured, light and populated with 3D nature foliage elements, producing a believable historical scene environment that pays homage to the early 20th century time period. Our objective for this project was to virtually-resurrect iconic building structures which no longer exist today, yet in times past were key landmarks within the old-style rural American neighborhood according to actual historical accounts.
In addition, we composed an original music soundtrack of 'warm emotive' quality to include within the extended video slideshow presentation that we also created, serving as an immersive slide-by-slide walkthrough of notable historic buildings such as the United Methodist Church, West Plumbing Supply, Bethel Full Gospel Church, Borden's, Herlihy & Mayflower, Coin Laundry Mat, Eddie's Nite Club, the Schilder Apartments building, the Rooming House, Mitchell's & Menefee's Snack House | Candy Store, George Washington Carver Community Center, Foley's | Lee's Grocery Store, Southern School - which was the first all-black operated educational facility in Chillicothe, Ohio, the Principle's House directly across the street from Southern School and many other 3d modeled buildings that are showcased within the virtual 3D neighborhood scene.
